DecoEcho Privacy Policy

DecoEcho is built around a simple promise: your study data is yours, and yours alone.

What we collect

Nothing. DecoEcho has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.

What stays on your device

The following is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad and (if you enable iCloud) in your own private iCloud account:

• The flashcards, decks, and subjects you create
• Your study progress and review history
• App settings and preferences

This data is accessible only to you. Apple’s iCloud privacy policies apply to anything synced through iCloud — see apple.com/legal/privacy.

In-app purchases

The DecoEcho Pro one-time purchase is handled entirely by Apple’s App Store. We never see your payment information.

Third-party services

DecoEcho uses these services to provide its features. None of them receive personally identifying information from us:

• Wikipedia API — When you use the “Wikipedia autofill” feature, your search term is sent to Wikipedia’s public API to fetch a summary. No information about you is included. See the Wikimedia privacy policy.
• Apple Translation — Runs entirely on your device. No data leaves your iPhone.
• Apple Speech Synthesis — Runs entirely on your device. No data leaves your iPhone.
• Apple Intelligence (on supported devices) — The “paste notes to cards” feature uses Apple’s on-device AI. No data is sent off your device.

Children’s privacy

DecoEcho is rated 4+ and is appropriate for all ages. Because we collect no information at all, the app fully complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar children’s privacy laws worldwide.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this URL and the “Effective date” above will be updated.
